Track Description

The bioInnovate track includes two specialized course sequences. Biomedical Device Innovation I / II will focus on medical product design and development within the regulatory framework of the FDA. Clinical Problem Solving I /II will focus on clinical observation, needs identification, concept generation and refinement, and business development concepts. Traditional Bioengineering graduate students will take the Bioengineering core curriculum, in addition to the bioInnovate track electives. Students from the School of Medicine will take substitute courses from the Bioengineering core Life Science Fundamentals that build on course equivalents taken during medical school.
